Our hopital didn`t allow videos or cameras while the baby was being born. Once the baby is out, then you can using them.

we did on my second child (didn`t have a DVD recorder 1st time) my partner placed it on the window ledge . on the DVD u can see me on the bed my partner and the midwife u can see nothing between my legs but because my legs were bent u can see my daughter come out from them u can see nothing rude at all. loads of my friends and family have watched it and those u are preggers want to record theirs now because it was done with dignity

You can tape the birth without taping your vagina. Have someone record it from above your waistline. I regret not recording my sons birth

I would have liked to but our hospital has decided to quit letting people tape births. I was told a lot of hospitals are doing this because they dont want proof on tape if a bad decision is made.
