Some are. Not mine. My son was born gorgeous. First words out of the assisting nurses mouth was `hes absolutely gorgeous`. My son had little vernix and no cone head. Some come out mighty funny looking. When they`re born its not such an issue. It`s bad when they`re older (no more goo or cone heads) and they`re ugly...For me it wouldnt have mattered. I heard his first cry long before I saw his face. Just hearing him cry made me fall in love. I was already smitten before I saw him

i feel bad when i think other peoples babies are ugly but i do think some are. i heard one that this one girl (kinda sorta my sister but not really) had her baby and just cryed and cryed because she though her baby was so ugly. I had these roomates that had a baby and i thought that he was just so cut that no one could beat him, so when ever i would see a new baby that i had never seen i thought that they were ugly, but i think it was just because it didnt look like the baby i was used to seeing. so if you are around 1 certain baby or toddler alot (almost everyday) and you think he/she is really cute then i think that maybe you may think that your baby is ugly. i even thought my neice was ugly!!! but she isnt

I was pretty lucky, none of my kids had cone heads or purple blotches or red marks from forceps etc, my last baby though was really covered with the cheesy white stuff and of course at the time I thought she was the most beautiful baby ever, I look at pics of her birth now and I still think she`s beautiful but ewww.

I think that YOU will think your baby is gorgeous no matter what... but there are some ugly ones out there lol They usually get cuter after a while :)

LOL idk what to say. i`ve seen a few ugly babies at birth. im curious as to how mine will look. if he`s ugly idk if i`ll admit it to family or not. lol. maybe i`ll come on this site and re ask this question!

I was just thinking about this! I haven`t had my baby yet, but I was wondering if I will think he/she is cute at birth.

My cousin`s baby was weird ugly at birth covered in hair. Now, she`s cute with a lot of hair. I was an ugly baby, had a huge forhead and funny nose. I don`t think I turned out too bad!! Haha

well i am pregnant with my first so i cant say personally. but from what i have seen and heard there are some ugly babies. of course you loe them unconditionally but theres no need to feel bad about thinking your baby is funny looking

Omg...I didn`t at birth, I thought he was the cutest thing i ever saw, but looking back at the pictures...he was super ugly...hee hee..

I wouldn`t say UGLY at all, maybe.....Misshapen? I guess just depending on how you have it. My son had a cone head at birth, but of course we all know why. It`s ok though, I still loved him the same ;)

both of mine were cute, they wernt covered in slime or anything, and my first, didnt have a wrinkle on him, his face was like that of a 3 month old, my second wasnt as georgeous as my first. i would admit it if my baby was ugly, my mum, gave birth to my brother, and she said he was the ugliest baby ever. she got annoyed, coz everyone in the street, kept saying isnt he georgeous? when it was obvious he wasnt cute atall.
