lilpnutdollmom83 (1225.8 days ago) I wish they would have. Instead of cutting me, my daughter tore me from front to back and it was all crocked.
Mommy with three cuties! (1226.5 days ago) I had one with my first daughter. It healed in about 2 weeks. I just made sure I kept it clean.
tamii (1226.7 days ago) my vote is -yes, it was very painful, but it was a necessity at that point in the labor and i would do it over again in a heartbeat. i had an epi, so i didn`t feel the incision or being stiched up, it was just painful afterwards. but i had been pushing nearly an hour and my daughter was stuck, so that was the safest option for me at the time.
Lizakn (1226.7 days ago) I had one with my first child. I had a natural labour {no meds at all} but for some reason the Dr. thought I needed an episiotomy. I had only pushed twice...and he cut me! She was out on the third push. I thought he kinda did it a little too early. I had pain from it for months afterwards. I have already told him this time {I have the same Dr.} that I do not want one.
trinitymum2be (1226.7 days ago) I had one and it really was not that bad first i didnt feel it bc of my epidural. i was pretty sore right after and for a few days but its not a horrible pain that kills you. its been two weeks and i sometimes feel a little sore. i was terrified of having it done and its not as bad as it would seem
