TeenyxTotx88x (1223.5 days ago) As you can see, this is my first baby, but my ex had a little girl who was just the same.. in the end we cut out her day time naps as much as possible, and if she was V V tired we let her sleep but woke her after about 45mins and tried not to let her nap after 5pm.. and took her out for half hour walk before bed, this always made her tired, she`d come home, have a bath, cuddle, bottle then bed..She was then in bed for 9 oclock.. after she got into the routine and slept less in the day she slept much better x EditDelete
mdbabyno1 (1223.7 days ago) I agree... just start a routine. At 4 weeks old we started a routine... bath at 6pm, pj`s, story, bottle, and in bed at 7pm. She is 3 months old(14 weeks) and sleeps from 7-8/9am. You will love it once you get the routine down. Some times it is hard if you are still out around 6 but then you think, I don`t want her to get off schedule and before you know it you are on your way home. EditDelete
OneSharpeFamily (1223.8 days ago) We started a routine with my daughter from about 8wks on... Our doctor actually suggested the bedtime routine so the baby knows its time for bed. (And going back to work at 6wks post delivery, it was hard with lack of sleep which is why we tried the routine). Every night to this day...(Elizabeth is almost 11mths old now) we would give her a bath, a bottle, then bed. We also had one of those music projector mobiles on her crib which she can`t go to sleep without. When she was just a little baby when only used soap every other day but it was a routine. She sleeps from 8-9pm (whenever we lay her down) to 9am on the weekends (sometimes I have to wake HER up) and even when she was younger she`d sleep until 5-6am. Just start a routine! :) EditDelete
TaniamommyX3 (1223.8 days ago) You need a set schedule and stick to it EVERY night!! You will have to be dedicated and change plans to meet this schedule. Since Caleb was brought home, we have always given him a bath at 8pm, then a baby massage, put him in his PJs, gave him a bottle (or a boobie) for milk and read him a bed time story. He is normally asleep by 8:30-9:00pm and will sleep until about 8:30-9:00am (he wakes up twice during the night most of the time for a feeding but he is also BF and 4 months old). GET ON SCHEDULE!! That`s the best advice you can get! Good luck!! EditDelete
