I got my period a 2 months, and 4months. I`m alsomst 8 months post-partum now so, I`m waiting for the next one. Breastfeeding has not stopped my period from comming, just spaced them out a lot.

i got my period back when my son was weaning off the breast. as he was taking solids he was dropping feeds. at 8 1/2 months he was only taking 2 breast feeds per day. then one day i got my period and that morning he refused the breast. this went on for a couple of days and now hes on cows milk. we are against formula as its not natural.

i had an iud put in at my 6 week checkup and didnt get a period until i had it taken out almost two years later.. not much help i guess. sorry

While my period`s doesn`t resume until after I quit breastfeeding, that doesn`t mean you don`t ovulate. I never had a period, but got pregnant when my baby was 9 months old!!!

My little girl is seven weeks today and on my six week check up and decided to get the IUD so now I may not even get periods anymore. Wish I could help.
