My son was born at 36 weeks and he was healthy and beautiful. He had a bit of trouble later with fluid in his lungs but that was thanks to the C-section--the fluid is naturally expelled during a natural birth.

I was induced at 36 weeks he was 7lbs 14 1/2 oz. I had a c-section at 35 weeks. He was 7lbs 2oz and stayed in the hosp. 2 extra days for slight jaundice. (he is 8yo and Perfectly Fine!!) I am having another c-sec. at 36 weeks Dec. 3rd this time around.

My daughter was born at 35.5 weeks and she was totally fine. My son was born at 37 weeks and he too was just fine. 37 weeks is considered term, so you wouldn`t be too far off. :)

big health risks, almost always no. issues like lung development not being completely ready or not being able to maintain body temperature on their own are usually very slight, but a possibility. most babies are usually fine. it all just depends on the baby.

  1. For those of you who get regular exercise, i.e. a daily run; are you bothered or do you get tetchy and frustrated when you have to go without it?
  2. How did you sleep your newborn and does anyone knwo research to indicate the safest way for a baby to sleep..i.e, crib, basinnet, cosleep, etc.
  3. Has your man had a vasectomy? How did it go? Would you recommend it? My DH is scheduled to get one soon, and we have to go to another city that evening 1.5 hrs drive away, will he be okay in a car that long? Thanks ladies.
  4. Ergo question: If you purchased an Ergo baby carrier, at what age did your children grow out of it?
  5. Does anyone have a nice slow cooker Lemon Chicken (chicken breast) recipe please? Any other slow cooker recipes would be great too :-) TIA
  6. Do you have a child in daycare? I have to put my 8 week old son in daycare starting next week and i`m terrified to leave him with strangers. Especially bc he is still colicky sometimes and i`m afraid they won`t know how to handle him.
  7. @ 8 months, how many teeth did your little one have?
  8. Cloth diapering mommies! Do you sun your cloth diapers when they get stained? I`m a first time mom and new to cloth diapering so I`m wondering if sunning the diapers just means putting them in the sun or if I`m misunderstanding something. Thanks!
  9. I`m at work and just went downstairs for a coffee, I certainly didn`t exert myself but when I got downstairs my head started pounding and it`s like my ears could only hear in waves, and my head felt full of pressure - not painful but a weird sensation. After about a minute everything seemed fine. Any idea what this may be? It felt more connected to my ears than anything else...?
  10. (I`m sure this probably varies, but...) How do daycares/childcare providers deal/handle food allergies? If you child is the one with the allergy do you pack their meals/snacks daily? Do they set the child with allergies away from the other children (who are eating the foods that your LO is allergic to)? (any info will be helpful) Thanks!
