I have lived in my house now for like 4 years and every once in a while I will feel strange. but this past new years eve (yes 09) I had to work early the next day so I stayed home by myself and I was sleeping when I heard this sound that woke me up. At first I thought it was everyone celebrating the new year but when I looked at the clock it was only 10 pm, so i just layed in bed waiting to see if id hear it again when I heard somone coming up/down my stairs, and the it sounded like they went into my kitchen, i heard my kitchen chair scoot out/move and then heard what sounded like someone packing a pack of cigs and then it got all quit again, So I called my fiance to see if his brother went with him and he said yeah, so i kinda looked around the house and there wasnt noone there but me!! Kinda spooky, but not the first time its happened!!

i lived in my last house for about 11 years... im sure there was something evil let into the house right near the end because wierd things started happening. One night there was a large box in the kitchen that started shakeing... i thought the cat was in there at first but when i looked there was nothing. The volume on the tv would go down by it s self, my son heard a girls voice when every one was asleep, we had photos with wierd looking black scairy evil things in the window... the house freaked me out so much in the end i hated beying there.

My husband has had more ghostly things happen to him like when he was 7 or 8 he went to the kitchen to get some water and standing there was a little boy about his age in a baby blue suit. He ran in to tell his parents and after talking to him they showed him a pic of a little boy and my hubby said thats him that was the boy he saw. It was a pic of his fathers brother that had died at the same age my hubby was. Other than that when I was around 13 or 14 I had went to a slumber party at my best friends house (which I hated staying over at all ways got a bad feeling) there was 4 or 5 of us and we were getting ready to go to sleep and all of a sudden her closet opened and stuff came flying out and everything on he walls started flying off! It scared the daylights out of me. :)

When I was young I got pushed down the stairs backwards by something that wasnt there. Later when I got a shower there was 2 child sized hand prints on my chest.

My grandpa lives in a house that was built in the late 1800`s & two people have been killed in there. The first woman who died was pushed down the stairs (which conists of like 20-25 steps), she broke her neck and it killed her. The second lady was murdered by her husband! Since my mom was only 16 when she had me we lived with my gpa most of my life! We have seem MANY crazy things! My cousin (who is a year younger than me), saw a `ghost` who he referred to as `Bobbi` & he saw her often when he was younger! He always told his mom that he played games with the naked woman! I could go on for days, about the stories I have heard from my grandma, grandpa, aunt & uncle & even the things I have experienced myself! The only time I have every saw a `ghost` in the house....I was about 8 years old, I was sleeping in the bed with my mom...we were in the very back bedroom of the house....I couldn`t sleep for some reason, and I was about to get up. I sat up in bed, and I saw a woman! She was about 5`5 or 5`6, she had long hair, and she had a dress on! She stood there still as can be, I watched for a few seconds, then I laid back down in bed! She still stood there still as can be! I covered my head with the covers and fell asleep! Just a couple of years ago me and my husband lived with my grandpa in that house & I heard strange things ALL THE TIME, but never seen anything! Now...my aunt and her 3 yr old son live there! He does the exact same thing My other cousin did, with his `friend`! Except his friends name is `Charlie`! He plays with him ALL THE TIME! Sometimes even waking up in the middle of the night, and starts playing with Charlie! Everynight at supper, my little cousin tells his mom that she has to make charlie a plate, because Charlies mom died, and now he can`t eat! It`s VERY freaky! Eeek........

when I was a teen My friends lived with her mom and her moms Bf @ his house . Well my friend told me that her moms bf Wife committed suicide and they found her right in front of my friend room @ the top of the stairs. It weird b/c sometime we would be pissed @ him and talk mess about him and the lights would start to flicker . We were freaked!! So he asked if it was her I forget her name, and almost everything they would flicker. It was crazy, I am getting goosebumps now, just thinking about it. I love to watch paranormal state and A&E. If you have not seen it watch it. I can not watch it @ night b/c I start `hearin` things...LOL

i haven`t really lived anywhere definitely `haunted` but strange things always seemed to happen at my parents` house. my mom really thinks there may be something going on there. lights turning on and off, footsteps heard, and just a sense of being watched. what`s your story? you really got me curious now! i love the show ghost hunters ... maybe they can investigate your house?!
