unconditionallove (1197.3 days ago) i do it... my hubby has to get up for work at 445 in the morning ... however on weekends he gets up.. i think its a fair trade..
mama2bri (1200.5 days ago) ughhh it was horrible when i first had brianna...i thought i was going to go crazy from lack of sleep, stupid pride & stubbornness, and the need to seriously slap some common sense into my husband... i was breastfeeding and pumping because i figured she would still be getting milk from me and then my husband would be able to get up with her at night to give me a break... YEAH RIGHT!! i would wake him when i`d hear her and then i`d roll over to go back to sleep thinking he got up to go get her, NOPE he literally sat up in bed scratched his eyes yawned and went back to sleep, so id wake up to her screaming 5 minutes later and have to do it myself anyways..so when i finally got the whole, oh its ok take a nap i got her from my husband i was like FU i`ll do it myself. shes 7 months old now and things ARE going WONDERFULLY, she is just as attached to daddy as she is to me and he helps out great now that i`m working nights(haha cuz he has to)..but those first 6 weeks..wow
EvaV (1200.7 days ago) My husband gets the baby, changes her diaper, and brings her over for me to nurse in bed. I am thinking maybe I am kind of mean...nah.
STCT (1200.8 days ago) I do because I breast feed so I tell my hubby not to get up. Not much he can do.
coltonsmom (1200.9 days ago) Just me because I breast feed. He did get up with our first born, but this time it`s all me and it doesn`t bother me because he`s extremely helpful when he gets home from work and on the weekends with our older son.
Jo-Mama (1200.9 days ago) We trade wake ups. I do one, then he does one. On the weekend we trade sleep ins - I get to sleep in on Saturdays and he sleeps in on Sundays. My daughter is 7 months old now and is equally attached to both of us. If Dad puts her to sleep, she doesn`t need Mom. This is perfect situation for us because I`m expecting Baby #2 in April and my daughter will be able to handle less time with me as I breastfeed the new one.
GreekGoddess26 (1201.4 days ago) well my daughter is not a newborn shes 6 months but actualy my baby stil wakes up every 2 hours for a feeding my husband takes care of her at night and ill take care of her in the morning, the only reason to that is cause im almost 5 months pregnant and im in so much pain to get out of bed every 2 hours
jensay (1201.4 days ago) wow 0 for daddy :( (at least when i wrote this comment :(....me and my hubby are 50%/50% but we bottle feed :)...i did pump & bottle feed (because baby wouldn't nurse) but hes always been a big help
