I certainly hope not. My hubby is 43 and I`m going to be 35 in Jan. We had our first son on May 5th 2008 and I`m looking forward to having another one. I don`t want to wait too terribly long before having another but I don`t think it`s too old at all!

my parents had 6 kids, the youngest they had when my mom was 37 and my dad was 50!

Nope!! Not too old. :) I`m 40. We`ve got a 14 month old and a 1 month old. I`ve also got a 22 year old daughter from a teen pregnancy. My daughter is now engaged, getting married in Feb. and will be starting her own family soon... so I`ll probably be a grandma by the time I`m 42. haha. That sounds crazy... but awesome. I wouldn`t change a thing in my world.

my husbands parents were both in their 40`s when they had him. I`m glad they didn`t think they were too old to have kids, because they made the most wonderful man around :)

Having a 3rd baby at 40 is the best thing I`ve ever done!!!!!! SO much easier then my first two :) Harder on my body but life after and how I feel about a baby later in life has been great. SO much less stress. I dont feel like I`m missing out on things staying at home doing nothing because I`ve already done all that, lol. I dont stress at all ~ much easier, highly recommend it :) We all will die someday some sooner then others so being older means nothing to me ~ you cant live your life based on how many years you have left cause you never know ~ do it now while you can, who cares what tomorrow brings ~ cross that bridge when you get there :)

I will be 40 in a few days and my husband just turned 45...our baby was 3 months on Saturday....we have a 18 yr old and 13 yr old.....other than my lower back hurting LOL it is great!!! I am more patient.....I recommend it to anyone that can still have children to do so....he is such a blessing!!!

my hubby is 36 and we just had a baby,,,,im younger 29...i think you should have kids...just remember a 20 year commitment at least hehehe

I don`t think so, if it`s something they want to do. I have some friends who had a daughter at 41(her) and 54(him), and my aunt had a daughter at 43 years old.

Never too old!!! If you and your SO are up to it, go for it! My aunt had a baby when she was 52... 37 and 45 makes you a `lightweight` in her book, lol! ;-D Do it!!!
