avenue (1198 days ago) microwave, i use to warm up with hot water, with my first one, but its so much easier to microwave, and it never did my second child any harm. actually, she has never been ill, and hasnt had a cold, and shes 16 months old now, were my first born, has had every illness going! jessberr31 (1198.5 days ago) I never heated it at all. I buy those gallons of infant water and make them as I go at room temp. But if I make bottles ahead of time and keep them in the fridge I warm them a little under hot tap water. If its summer time and hot outside I have even given my babies a cold bottle to cool him/her down. None of them ever complained or refused it so I guess they liked the way I did things, lol! I bet babies that brestfed first would prefer their formula warm though since they are used to that. EditDelete
chasesmommy (1198.5 days ago) i usually breatfeed but if i have a pumped bottle in the fridge then i warm it EditDelete
chasesmommy (1198.5 days ago) what i do is put the bottle in warm water. never ever microwave the bottle and never put breastmilk in boiling water it can kill the antibodies like the other mom said EditDelete
jensay (1198.6 days ago) i don`t anymore but when i did i used a bottle warmer or hot tap water....DON`T EVER USE A MICROWAVE!! :-) EditDelete
Kevinsmilfx2 (1198.7 days ago) For mammas who reheat refrigerated breastmilk, make sure not to reheat in too hot of water or you risk killing the live antibodies in your milk. :-D EditDelete
