When he started burping on his own

My son pretty much burped himself from the start. I think we had to burp him about 10 times and that was it. He either didn`t burp and was fine or he would just let it out when he was done eating.

you should burp them until they can sit up on their own....i think on average around 4 or 5 months of age...

I think when my babies could sit up alone...that`s usually when they didn`t need to be burped

I don`t burp anymore and haven`t since about 6 1/2 months. She burps on her own. If she ever seems uncomfortable I`ll do it, but I haven`t done it in awhile.
