3blessings (1168.6 days ago) I`d be pissed! That`s so wrong. About 6 months ago I went to a baby shower for a friend from high school. I gave her a lot of nice stuff, and I found her selling it on craigslist...it`s kinda like an eBay. She was selling it for `best offer` I was sooo mad! Not really the same thing but kinda deceitful! MichelleMc(pink!) (1169.6 days ago) If they claimed they had bought it or made it, I wouldn`t appreciate their dishonesty. If they didn`t claim anything like that, and I found it it was a re-gift, I most likely wouldn`t mind, especially if I knew they were having financial trouble. EditDelete
Kevinsmilfx2 (1169.6 days ago) Wait...I have more to say about this - oh no, I know. Shut up Kevinsmilf...no one cares... BUT, at my baby shower, one of my aunts gave me hand me down clothes from her BOYS from back in the `80s!! YEAH. I was telling doodle-bug about it a while ago. It was like a little tye dyed shirt and plaid sun hat. My mom goes `didn`t Ryan wear that to the beach right after he was born?? That`s Ryan`s stuff, Meg! What the hell is wrong with you?!?` My aunt was so embarrassed, but seriously, regifting USED crap in that manor is so tacky. So so so so SOOOOO tacky. And I would speak up about it. My mom called my aunt in tears later cuz she was so pissed at her. They haven`t really spoken too much since, either. Lesson: Don`t regift. Play it safe. EditDelete
Kevinsmilfx2 (1169.6 days ago) Omg, regifting sucks weather your giving it or receiving it. Unless you`ve been eyeing it and that person knows you really want it. My brother is an attorney and ALWAYS has these kewl little gadgets. I`d be honored if he wrapped one up and gave it to me, even if it was already opened! LOL!!! EditDelete
sarahanne (1169.7 days ago) There`s a REALLY funny Seinfeld episode about re-gifting EditDelete
Tara83 (1169.7 days ago) i think its called `re-gifting` lol sometimes it can be ok and other times its insulting like in your case with the baby items. EditDelete
Mason**Ashlynns** mom (1169.9 days ago) I said yes but a little bit no too. It depends on the circumstances like if they are broke, or they already have that gift. It`s the thought that counts so if they really wanted to get you something but couldn`t afford it or already had one of the gift I wouldn`t get mad. EditDelete
bellajenna (1169.9 days ago) I would be upset if they took credit from it, but if they got it from someone else and didnt want it so they gave it to me that would be fine EditDelete
