It only takes 2 minutes without oxygen for there to be serious brain damage and even death so although some women supposedly don`t even look away from their babies for 2 minutes, I would err on the side of caution personally.

well i have a son so he wouldnt wear jewlry. but im pregnant again, and if this one is a girl i WONT put jewlry on her. its a chocking hazard and dangerous. and i wouldnt put a infant through the trouble of getting earrings either.

I would sometimes put on a bracelet but, never a necklace.

I personally don`t think it is a good idea to put a necklace on a baby under any circumstances. It is too much of a strangulation hazard. And bracelets either because they could get them off and be a choking hazard. Why is it so important to decorate babies?

both my son and daughter have a bracelet( it was my sons but has been passed down to my daughter) they both wore it from 6 weeks old, neither of them have bothered with it at all.

Grace only wore one once at her Baptism last weekend, she is 11 months! And she played with it too much that i wouldn`t ever leave one on her for a long period of time!

I am giving my 6 month old a amber teething necklace to wear under supervision (haha as if she is ever not supervised..)

My daughter is 3 I have never put a necklace on her only a bracelet once for her Baptism. I think you should wait until the child is old enough to know not to put it into there mouth. My doctor also told us to wait for earrings until 2or 3. I hope this helps

my little girl is almost 3 and i never have, its to much of a risk.
