I had a c-section 9 months ago, but I have been getting hit with cold after cold and ear problems, too. I was attributing it to the fact that I am an elementary school teacher and am exposed to all the kids` germs! But now I`m wondering if it has anything to do with the surgery..hmmmm

I was the healthiest I`d ever been during my pregnancy and after. I had a c-section and the recovery was great, much quicker then I thought it would be. My son is 14 months old and he and I have both only had 1 cold, which was during the winter last June. Do you take a good multi vitamin? It may help somewhat. I felt fine after my c section, not sure where you are located but it seems that allergies and cold season have been exceptionally worse this year (add that on top of lack of sleep, breastfeeding if you are and hormones changing and it seems very possible to feel under the weather more often)..maybe its just a coincidence, but you could always have your Dr do a complete blood work and make sure you are not deficient in anything that would cause you to have a week immune system--Hope you get a break!
