I`ve thought I was having a boy since about 7 weeks. And I was right! It`s what we were hoping for, so we were happy. I don`t think I would`ve been disappointed if he was a she though.

I really felt like i was having a girl this time, but it s another boy! Yeah i did feel dissapointed, but on the other hand, so happy to be pregnant and having a healthy baby!

I voted NO...but I thought I was having a boy bc everyone told me I was. I had my mind set that it was a boy. When I found out it was a girl I was Ecstatic!! But I kinda felt like I couldn`t be AS happy as I wanted to be bc I knew my husband really wanted a boy so I was a LITTLE disappointed for him...but all little girls LOVE LOVE LOVE their daddy so she`ll be his whole world I just know it!!! Maybe next time he won`t leave the stem off the apple...hehe!!!

My husband & I have a 3yr old daughter...so when I got pregnant again {I am due tomorrow!!} I was really hoping for another girl! Mostly because I want my daughter to have a little sister because I have a sister. So...when I found out we were expecting a boy I was VERY disapointed. I cried...went through a little `baby blues` time...and I never thought I would get over it. I just never seen myself with a boy because I am sooo girly! Even now when I go into the nursery & see all the blue clothes hanging in the closet I have to look twice & remind myself that I am having a boy because I just had my mind wrapped around the thought of having another girl. But now that its down to the very end of my pregnancy...I am starting to get excited about the thought of being a mom to a little boy! I think about all the sports {I am from Canada so he will SOOO be in Hockey!!haha} and it will be cute to have a little `mommys boy` My daughter is still a little upset that we aren`t having a girl...but maybe she will get a sister someday! I used to think that me being sad over the fact that I was having a boy was a bad thing & that people would think I was a terrible mother....but I have talked to MANY women that have had the same feelings. It will be very different having a boy after having a girl {a very girly girl I might add!haha} But it will be a wonderful experience I am sure!!

i think i was just shocked i found out i was having a boy at 5 months so my whole pregnancy before then I was absolutely convinced i was having a girl and EVERYONE else thought so too so I had to get my head around it.

well the girl things ARE so cute; it`s hard not to browse through them, even if you are expecting a boy!

Definitely not. I didn;t get pregnant and decide to have a baby so that I could have a `son` or a `daughter`, I wanted to be a mother and have a child - gender did not even come into it. I just wanted a healthy baby!

we just found out we are having girl #3...i was a tad bit disapointed as we were hoping this one would be a boy. It is o.k though, I know I will love her as much as my other 2 princesses :)

I thought for sure I was having a girl so yes I was disapointed at first when I found out it was a boy. But I got over it :)

With both my pregnancy`s I just knew what each one was going to be (boy/girl). When I found out my first was a girl I was excited but it was also no big deal cuz I just knew it was going to be. But when they told us boy this time I got really excited to be having one of each. Then after the excitment was gone I felt alittle sad cuz I love my little girl so much I didn`t know how to feel about a boy. But I am sure I will love him just as much!

I was really hoping to be having a little girl. I wanted to be able to have pretty things for her and dress her up etc. When the u/s showed boy bits I hate to admit it but yes I was disappointed. I actually cried on the way home! However, now that I have had time to get used to the idea of a boy I am looking forward to having him and will love him to bits but really I do hope my next one will be a girl! Is that terrible!?

I thought I was having a boy & when they said girl I was a little disappointed, and thought my hubby would be too, however on our way out the Hospital my hubby opened a door for me and said `After you girls` it just made me so happy. Second time around hoping for another girl and told a boy, was happy but found it hard to imagine us with a boy.

that`s a really good question to post; I have been wondering the same thing. My husband had been hoping for a girl, whereas I was sort of hoping for a boy; the last doctor visit, she said it looked like a boy (13 weeks though so obviously not 100 percent) and I was not disappointed but I was worried that my husband might be...I am happy to say that he wasn`t. =)

I was really excited every time I thought about the baby being a boy or a girl. I feel excited and blessed to be having a baby girl and would feel the exact same if I was having a boy! :)

  6. OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!

  8. ANGRY!!!! My jenakers account is missing my ENTIRE journal from my high risk pregnancy and my letthisonestick account for my 7 month old is completely gone along with my journal. I AM SICK OVER IT!
  9. I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.
