mamaof2girls (1141.5 days ago) Growing up my friends mom threw up her younger child higher then what she meant to and she went into the fan. It left a mark on her.
KarenBG (1142.3 days ago) okay if you don`t really let them go!
thebigtomato (1142.4 days ago) I toss my guy in the air a couple inches up from my hands. He laughs and laughs over it. I`ve tried just raising him up and down really fast, but he doesn`t think it`s nearly as fun as being tossed up. I don`t know why someone would end up dropping a baby. I mean, if he did some flip in the air or something I might trip, fall, break my arm, leg, or neck, but I WOULD CATCH HIM at any and all cost to my own well-being!
FreedomLee (1142.6 days ago) I do it to my 10 mo old sister but I never let her go or loosen my grip so it`s more like raising rather than throwing. She loves it.
Kevinsmilfx2 (1142.7 days ago) I don`t violently throw my daughter in the air or anything (no shaken baby syndrome here!) but hubby and I will occassionally toss her up a few times. She loves it, and isn`t far from our hands. I don`t see what the big deal is???
aprilraine (1142.7 days ago) I would never do it, but my SO did with our daugher. She loved it but I know all too well about the heart palpitations!!
arkansastechmommy (1142.7 days ago) I chose `fun, safe, baby loves it`, but I do see where people would have chose the other option too. I never did it with my son, but my husband did & can deff. relate to it making someone nervous!
lilmamaaua (1142.7 days ago) I used to babysit two kids and the father threw the little girl in the air but not completely out of his hands and anyways something happened his hands slipped and he dropped her. She fell half onto the couch and then to the floor and broke her leg. If the couch hadn`t broken her fall who knows what would have happened! My bub will be staying firmly in my arms!
luvbeingamom (1142.7 days ago) i will kinda do it. I will toss them in the air but my hands are never completely off of them. It would make me way to nervous to do it without touching them. They do love it!
Amy74 (1142.7 days ago) I think it depends how high. My husband does it and my baby who is 16 months LOVES it...but it`s not that high up in the air. If YOU don`t feel comforable by all means tell him to stop.
