mommyjenn88 (1140.4 days ago) there is no end to teething lol. they will start slobbering a lot, chewing on things, and get cranky and fussy.
nmck (1140.4 days ago) Teething goes on FOREVER!! In late August, we saw teeth bumps protruding through my son`s bottom gums. They got super swollen, etc and finally emerged over 8 weeks later! Then when they came through, he was still sore as they shifted down. Then he started cutting top teeth right away... so it lasts a long time. Hope your baby is one of the ones where you don`t even notice til a tooth is there!
velvetsatin73 (1140.6 days ago) My son will be 3 months on the 7th and I swear he is getting a tooth or two. My mom even thinks so too because he drools constantly and he is putting his hands, bibs and anything in his mouth. Plus his cheeks are red and he sleeps alot. Is it too early for his teeth to come in?
netters (1140.7 days ago) My daughter has be a drool machine since she was 12 weeks old and she just got her first two bottom teeth last week (she is now 6 1/2 months old). I thought to check her gums to see if she was teething when all she wanted to do is sleep all day long. Sure enough her gums felt a little rough. The next few days she was extra sleepy and was very needy.
marli (1140.8 days ago) Lots of drooling (LOTS!). Chewing on everything. Fussy, fever (ocassionally). Just doesn`t act their normal self. My 13 month old has been teething since 6 months. The main problem I have with him is he loses his appetite.
bethk (1140.9 days ago) Cheeks go red(sometimes only the one cheek, sometimes both) Grizzly/fussy. Can be clingy and want to be held loads and will be chewing on everything in site! But then again some babies have no problem and have hardly any if any of the symptoms above x
alex76 (1140.9 days ago) My daughter teethed late. she actually only got her last bottom molar this week and she`s 3. With us it was an on off thing, her cheeks would go as bright as red apples and the skin on them would be dry on the side the tooth was erupting, she`d be fussy, dribbling and when younger her the contents of her nappy would be affected, my son is exactly the same, he`s just got his first two teeth at 8 months. My daughter was 11 months before she got one.
carla81 (1140.9 days ago) Hi there, every baby is different and reacts differently to teething. With my son who is now 14 mths old, he wasn`t too bothered with his first teeth (the 2 bottom middles ones), he was a little fussy for a couple days but that was it. When the top teeth came through he was fussy off and on for a couple weeks and the teeth seemed to take about 2-3 weeks to come through, he started having a couple wake ups during the night and generally seemed to be in some kind of disocmfort. He`s been the same for all the other teeth since then except that he doesn`t wake at night any more. He also gets abit of diarrhoea and a nappy rash when he teethes and he gets a bit fussy with his food (just solids, not milk).
