hotpotaaaaato (1140.5 days ago) With my first born I was worried, but not too worried... now with my second (11 weeks old) I`m terrified of the crib and don`t want to lay her in it at all. It`s weird and unjustified but I`m right there with ya.
lizakn (1140.7 days ago) I was the same way! I didn`t want my daughter sleeping in her crib even though it was beside our bed. I had to have her right beside me in our bed!...it was the only way I could sleep!
I am now 6 days overdue with our 2nd child...and I am still just as worried!
I would suggest maybe buying `Angel Care` its a thing that lays under the baby & if the babys heart stops or the baby stops breathing for some reason an alarm goes off. I had a friend that had it for her baby & said that it made her sleep a whole lot easier!
bethk (1140.8 days ago) I had the Tommee Tippee monitor bought for me which has a sensor mat as well as temperature and the voice part. It sounds an alarm if babys breathing becomes abnormal or stops! This has been the most amazing gift ever! I can sleep now with no problems! The alarm went off once and it was sooo loud even my other half jumped out of bed! (It was just a low battery alarm tho thank god)! I suggest if u cant get sleep to look into buying something with a sensor mat its the best thing EVER! xx
EmmaReed84 (1140.8 days ago) Is this your first child? With my first I was totally terrified of it. Now I have my 2nd I still worry but not as much. I just make sure I check him when he is asleep. I think it`s a natural feeling for any mum. Try not to let it take you over though.
