EvaV (1139.9 days ago) The feeding tips during landing and take-off. If she uses a pacifier, I have heard that helps during flight with the ears. Good Luck- you are brave!
NewMum2B (1140.4 days ago) Definitely the feeding during take off and landing! It really helps with her ears. If you use formula make sure and bring plenty extra, my daughter tends to take twice the amount of bottles during traveling. She also eats Yummies now, so I had those handy. Other then that just try and keep your patience in check...it`s going to be a long day. My daughter`s 9 months old and we`ve flown with her many times, it gets harder each trip.
Amy74 (1140.8 days ago) I think feeding during take off and landing is the main thing. just be extra prepared to entertain you know. I flew with mine at 3 months..she slept and then again at 4 months..slept again. A 9 month old is a little more busier. GOOD LUCK
luvbeingamom (1140.8 days ago) You should def feed her during take off. Landing, well that can be based on if she is awake, smooth or bumpy landing etc. Also, if you can, fly during one of her usual sleep times, either during nap or at night. Also, if you can, try to get her, her own seat and bring her carseat. Another great tip that i learned was to bring a new toy for each flight. It will hold their attention longer than an old toy. Make sure you have her fav blanket and other small comfort items. Also bring snacks. Graham Crakers are great b/c htey are hard to choke on and don`t make noise when they are eating them. When i traveled with my son i also had our little stroller with us so that i could wheel him to the gate and away. Another great travel tip for once you are there. Bring clear packing tape roll with you in your suitcase. When you get to your destination, you can use the packing tape to baby proof anywhere. We use it to cover outlets, tape down the hotel phone, and secure other loose items. Good Luck and have a safe flight.
3blessings (1140.8 days ago) I know that I should try and feed her during acceleration and deceleration...but other than that, I`m clueless~
