First c-section, I had the epidural. I was out of it after delivery. Second c-section I only had demerol to take the edge off during almost 30 hours of labour. I was in soooo much pain after. 3rd section (scheduled, but went early) I laboured for 9 hours natural..had spinal and was fine, up walking 4 hours later:-} Best delivery by far for me...

I had a natural birth with no drugs.. it was hard but good. My best bit of advice for a no complication delivery is acupuncture twice per week from 37weeks.. helps get the baby into the right position which means fast dilation and fast pushing phase.. it also induces labour so you are less likely to be artificially induced which results in a more painful labour. Good luck no matter what you decide!

I was induced had a vaginal delivery no epidural but I did have the morphine in the IV.Or maybe that`s demoral? I`m not sure ahha.

One natural onset of labor without meds and one was induced without meds as well (epidural, meds etc.)

I had gas and there were no after affects my babies were alert I walked around straight away and my babies latched on right away.

oh i forgot, they used the vacuum with the second because her heart rate dropped. but it slipped off and she came out on the next push

my water broke at home at 36 weeks with my first. i was in labour for 22 hours, got my epi at 8cm and pushed for an hour and a half. i was induced on my due date with second due to gd. got my epi at 5 cm. baby was here 2 and a half hours after pitocin was started after 10 minutes of pushing. i felt like hell afterwards with both because i tore. but the second was much better. i wasnt as tired and i guess i was more prepared. good luck!

I had to be induced due to blood pressure, and then ended up having a c-section because the baby was being picked up on the monitors.

1st c-sec induced, demerol emergency section with spinal. 2nd c-section failed vbac ended in uterine rupture was put out, 3rd c-section planned with spinal. 4th section mixed spinal epi. I hated that. I liked the spinal better. The mixed thing kept me in bed 2 days with cath hooked up. Spinal I was up and walking in no time.

I was induced with both of my births and used an epidural for pain relief. I had one difficult experience and one very good expierece. The bad birth was due to complications that had nothing to do with pain meds. I started indcution without any natural progress due to GD and PUPPS. Then at the end of the birth process, we found the cord around my son`s neck and had to stop pushing to get it untangled. It was bad situation minutes from a c-section. My second expierence was great. The epi worked just like it is meant to, it took away the pain but still let me have use of my legs. It was great!

I was induced with both pregnancies, first preg I had an epi, which resulted in me being cut and them using a ventouse (vacuum cap)I had to have a catheter and felt crap afterwards, also could not walk every well and was stuck in bed for 2 days. 2nd time I did not have time for en epi (which was recommended)I gave birth pretty much without any pain relief and was up and walking about after 1 hour feeling perfectly fine. Yes at the time it hurt like hell, but not pain as you usually expect pain. lol

ive had 2 vaginal w pain meds(epidural), and 2 vaginal without pain meds. all 4 babies came out perfect and alert. recovery was the same either way. this time i will be getting an epidural again because i prefer a calm, relaxing few hours to rest before the baby gets here.

Natural onset, no pain meds, was home 3 hours after giving birth. Great recovery. Same as kater.

i had natural onset and no pain meds with all 3 of mine and im scared that im going to wimp out this time. its been a minute since my last kid. we had mexican the other night and i was having flash backs of contraction pain. all i kept thinking was `oh god, i cant do this!!!` i really hope this labor is as short as my others.... there was no time for meds, so i didnt have a choice. im more scared of the pain than anything else. oh im such a pansy!
