i had fertility problems (PCOS) and didn`t know it. SO i TTC my first for over 2 years before diagnosis, once i was diagnosised and given metformin i concieved within a month. Wiht my second, i knew the challenges and started on metformin from the start. I was pregnant in 3 weeks from our TTC start.

1st a month, 2nd 2 years (I had the depo shot and think if effected my fertility) 3rd son 1 month.

With baby num 1, it took us about 7 months, with baby num 2, we got pregnant the 1st cycle we started trying. It was alot easier the 2nd go round, because I used all of the research I learned the 1st time.

As soon as hubby and I decided to try for a baby I fell preg straight away, but lost it at 8 weeks, within 2 weeks after that I was preg again, then when Dylan was 2 I fell preg again, lost that one at 8 weeks, then when Dylan was about 4, decided to try for another, but this time it took me 4 years to fall pregnant and I had actually said to hubby, I give up..., so as soon as my mind had given up, I fell straight away.

Number 1 took 3 months, number 2 took a month, and number 3 was a surpise! I read that you are your most fertile within a year of giving birth...all of my kids were over a year before we conceived again...but I know a lot of people who got preggers very easily in that first year. Good luck.

With the first we decided to stop the pill and let fate decide when it would happen.. and it took 6 months. With the second we decided to actually try and it took us about 6 months.
