annas-momma (1126.3 days ago) I was going to say that some babies just spit up easily. As long as it doesn`t seem to hurt or bother her, then shes probably just fine. I also would recommend burping her a little easier. I actually had a difficult time burping Anna and someone taught me a trick: Rub circles on her back 10 times slowly... then very lightly tap her back ten times... VERY lightly. Anna usually burped with the first 3 taps. I hope this works for you!
lisareader (1126.4 days ago) My son was a major spitter-upper until he was about six months old and his sphincter developed fully. My doc indicated that if the baby doesn`t seem bothered by it and is gaining weight just fine, it`s not a problem.
military~mommy (1126.5 days ago) If she only spits up a tablespoon that is fine, if it is more, you may need to talk to your doctor. There are several conditions that can cause this. Reflux, when the stomach sphinctor is not properly developed, or the sphinctor is closed.
luvbeingamom (1126.5 days ago) Does she burp easily? If she is difficult to burp it might be b/c she doesn`t need to and when you are `making` her she is spitting up. (found that out the hard way). Most bf babies don`t need to be burped. Otherwise, i would think it could be an allergy? Maybe try cutting dairy out of your diet for about a week and see if that helps :-)
