I also put Vaseline or just the generic petroleum jelly on all 3 of my kids... especially since Chapstick seems to love the washer/dryer in our house lol

My son has been a drooler since bout 3 months old- we keep a bib on him all the time- changing it several times a day and using aquaphor cream helps with the chapped, too.

My ped recommended using Aquaphor cream to heal the skin, and cornstarch baby powder (not talc) to absorb the moisture from the drool. Johnson`s makes this kind of powder. I just started trying these techniches so I don`t know the results yet.
