mommy2four (1115.9 days ago) This is true. The Bradley Method of childbirth encourages mothers to eat 100g of protein each day. It seems like a lot, but it comes from many sources: milk, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, potato, rice, cereal, beans, nuts....and meats of course. If you are interested in a longer list, contact me on my profile.
Lookalike (1115.9 days ago) I`m a vegetarian too but I`ve never been turned away for low iron when donating blood. A lot of people think that if you don`t eat meat, you don`t get enough protein and that`s just not true. I`m glad that you added that it`s not just from meat because a lot of people think that that`s the ONLY way to get a sufficient amount of protein.
Babyloves (1116.6 days ago) I`m a vegeterian so I am probably low on protein :( I do try and get as much as I can from other sources but it`s hard.
bellajenna (1116.6 days ago) another good thing about eating protein when pregnant is it decreases the risk of preeclampsia
