I agree with Melissa and Mama J. I was baptized as a baby.... but then I was baptized after I came to know Christ, when I was 21 :D My kids will be dedicated, and God willing baptized after they get saved.

Agree with Mama J - we did a baby dedication at our church at two weeks old. She`ll be baptized when she`s old enough to dedicate herself to the Lord... I chose to be baptized at 11, my husband did at 17. A baby dedication is basically where we publicly declared as parents to devote ourselves to raising her in a way that`s pleasing to God.

We are getting our children dedicated to the lord.. baptizm is something they should do when they are older and are knowing what they are doing.... when you are saved and baptized..and completely submerged in the water..

Grace was 11 months when I got her baptized, it was a beautiful Catholic ceremony and she was such a good girl during it!
