kimster (1108.7 days ago) I had bleeding through my whole first tri. due to a fiborid. They found it through an U/S. It stopped near the very beginning of my second tri.
jenl645 (1108.9 days ago) My doctor told me that if it`s brown it`s ok but if it`s pink or red to go to the doctor. It is posible to still have periods though - my friend got preiods for the first 3 months.
courtenay (1108.9 days ago) before i knew i was pregnant, at about 5 weeks i had EXTREMELY heavy, bright red and clotty bleeding. I mean soaking through a pad in less than an hour. The doctors said i was miscarrying (and i didnt even know yet) because there was no way i could bleed like that and still be pregnant. needless to say i was deffinitly pregnant and my daughter is now almost 4 months old. I`ll never really know why i bled like that since i didnt know i was pregnant at the time, the doctor thinks i could have lost a second baby possibly or it could have juts been one of those things. but it IS possible to bleed more than just a spot or two and still have a healthy baby. I never had even a spot after that.
bethk (1108.9 days ago) My mother had her usual periods through the whole of her pregnancy with my lil brother! She then had a blood hemirage which they thought might have been a twin to my bro??
Lookalike (1109 days ago) Melissa Joanne I wanna hear that story!
MelissaJoanne (1109 days ago) Before I realized I was pregnant I had what I thought was my period, but it only lasted about 3 days. I took a PG test a few days later, since my `period` was only 3 days, not my usual 5. I bled a couple times in week 5 and week 6. I also bled somewhat heavily after every internal exam while pregnant. I never had any complications, and my daughter is happy and healthy. I have a friend that had her period through her entire pregnancy (she actually didn`t know she was pregnant until she delivered, but that`s another story unto itself!). So don`t worry!! First trimester bleeding is common as your body stretches to accommodate a new person living in there.
Lookalike (1109 days ago) You can be pregnant and still have a period. It`s rare but it does happen. The flow will be a lot less than your regular flow. That might be it. I knew a lady that had been pregnant for six months and didn`t know because she was still getting her period every month right on time just very light and she felt sick but still didn`t know!
