armymom (286.5 days ago) I use the Platex Ventaire.. they`re good if your going to be switching from breast to bottle and back and forth.

megandgrace (287.3 days ago) I would recommend Avent bottles. I breast fed for over a year and used those because i used the Avent pump and it worked out great for us!
~amy~ (287.8 days ago) My sister used the Dr. Browns with Evie because she had so much air but the nuk by gerber worked well too.
gladek (287.9 days ago) Playtex dropins with ultra slow-flow nipples work great for us. We waited until after a month, but he needs to drink breastmilk from a bottle while I work (daddy watches him, as we work different shifts), and they work great
bethk (288.1 days ago) If ur planning on doing breast and bottle then Tommee Tippee Closer to nature bottles are perfect. The teat is shaped like a nipple so it isnt as confusing and less work when you want to put him/her back to the breast etc..
Amanda-is-Rebekahs-Mommy (288.1 days ago) I started out trying to use the Avent bottles since that`s what the hospital nurses recommended here, but my baby girl didn`t like the nipples, we tried the brown nipple, and regular playtex and ventair nipples and still my daughter wouldn`t take a bottle, we finally tried the Nuk since they`re the most like mommy`s nipple and my daughter takes those just great. She breast feeds just fine with me whenever I`m home, but she takes the Nuk bottles great when I`m gone. That would be the one that I recommend.
sarahanne (288.2 days ago) When I pump and store milk, I use the Drop-Ins with the `natural` nipple. He uses it fine, and there`s no confusion between the two since it`s so much like a human nipple. I swear by those drop-ins... when they get older, you can put juice and whole milk and all that in it using the same bottle, just switch the bag and rinse the nipple. I found that at Target, they sell the generic drop-ins molded or soft and they`re half the price of the name brand. If you buy the bottles, get one of the gift sets that way you get different sizes and different shaped nipples to find out which works best for your baby. Good luck!
StaceyL (288.2 days ago) I used Avent (as recommended by our lactation consultant) until the BPA freak-out. Avent now offers a BPA free option but they`re as expensive as Dr. Browns, Born Free, etc. I went with Sassy Mam bottles which are BPA free and roughly $4 per bottle....but I like the sound of nmck`s $1 bottle option!
babyborders (288.2 days ago) I have breastfed and used bottles with my daughter since she was three weeks, and I used regular playtex bottles at first, but they caused her not want the breast. So I tried the Nuk wide mouth bottles, and she loves them! Plus she still loves the boob lol. I think they feel really similar to an actual breast.
MileysMommy (288.2 days ago) We were on the nuk orthodontic nipples but had to switch to Dr. Browns because of air! Its a huge diff now!
STCT (288.2 days ago) I nures and bottle feed with breatmilk. I used Avent.
lovemyfamily (288.3 days ago) I breastfeed as well and use Dr. Browns, she loves them!
luvbeingamom (288.3 days ago) The ones that i found closest to the breast was the breastflo bottle by safety first. They had a special nipple that best simulated the breast and the slower/harder working flow of the breast. As my son got older and would easily switch back and forth between the bottle and breast i switched to the cheaper playtex drop-ins.
happyforest (288.4 days ago) we use the nuk orthodontic nipples. they are the same shape as your nipple when it is in the babys mouth. my son had no trouble at all latching on. it has a great built in vent, AND the fit the regular, cheap bottles. here is what they look like : http://www.viewpoints.com/images/review/2007/256/13/1189707555-8055_full.jpg
courtenay (288.4 days ago) i se drop ins for the rare times i use a bottle and i love them
MelissaJoanne (288.4 days ago) I`ve only ever used an Adiri natural nurser for the few times that I`ve pumped + fed (in the car on a road trip). It`s supposed to work well for breastfed babies, to simulate breastfeeding, and my daughter hasn`t had a problem using it.
nmck (288.4 days ago) We use evenflo. They are BPA free, dishwasher safe, and only $1 each.
