My daughter starting `trying` to at 3 mths old and by 4.5 mths she was holding it by herself. She is very independent when it comes to doing stuff though... like she doesnt want to hold your hand to walk outside, doesn`t want help with anything.

my daughter did around just before 7 months, but is lazy with it. there are times i give her no choice but to hold it and she drinks half and then starts playing with it and chewing on it and then wont drink the rest so i struggle with wanting to give it to her so she can learn and just doing it for her so she gets her nutrients

Mine started trying to hold her own bottle at 6mnths old. But when she gets bored she lets it go! Shes 7mnths now and can hold it just lazy and refuses too as her hands just want to play with everything x
