Thank you ladies for your comfort in this. I really do feel that my child doesnt look so great in the ultrasound. he doesnt even look like me or my husband. he has some of the biggest lips and pronounced face i have ever seen. not familiar to either side of family. i thought maybe his face was deformed. but i am beginning to believe it was just the pic and the way it was taken. hopefully i will be shocked when i see him and think oh my he is beautiful.

Well to be completely HONEST!! My thoughts were the complete opposite. When I saw her 3D-4D ultrasounds I was like omg she is soooo cute!! But when she was born I was like omg she`s sooo ugly, she looks like a little rat!! But of course she was super swollen from her face and agg she`s just the most beautiful little person I have ever seen. Even with her little dumbo ears haha.

At our 18 week 3D U/S I was super freaked because baby looked like an alien!!! It was cool though because at 26 weeks, he already looked like his daddy! Although I am a biased mommy, I think he is beautiful now!

haha funny question! I just got a 20 week ultrasound yesterday and they gave me pictures and I looked at them and thought `ohh my God my baby looks like a monkey!`. Then the doctor was a sweetie pie and flipped some switch and let me see a 3D picture of her and she looked completely normal!!! Sometimes it`s just how they are positioned I think!

Oh yes, when I saw the 3D ultrasound...I was like oh my goodnes! But when he was born he was just beautiful and I`m not just saying that b/c I`m his mom but the ultrasound didn`t look so beautiful..haha

well i can say this..i was amazed how alike my girl looked when she was out..i could already see some promiment features from her dads side..and well..thats how it turened out to be.. but..don`t worry the baby will be just the most adorable one..since its yours!!..you will see!!

all my babys lookeed like aliens in the scan pictures with flat noses but they all came out very normal looking! remember theres still alot of growing and changing that occurs after these scans before babies born ;) Despite them looking like aliens, you love them, find them beautiful and are as proud as punch of your pics hehe :)
