My son has had to have a couple spoonfuls of rice cereal in his bottles since he was 4 days old. But he has been eating it with a spoon now for about 2-3 weeks. He just turned 3 months old on the 10th.

we started on oatmeal cereal at 3 months. i am not giving him rice, bc it constipates him

i was going to wait until 6 months or closer to it but i started at 4 months due to some weight issues.

We planned to wait til 6 months, but ended up introducing rice cereal at about 5 1/2 months.

it depends for breast fed babys you should wait till about 6 months for formula babys 4 months
