That happened to my son twice and I had to go get pedialyte and it worked really fast to hydrate him. I had to stop giving him milk until his pooping stopped and just give him the pedialyte. So scary!!!

is it diahrea? or is it hard? my doctor told me it is the consistency of the poop that matters, not how often the baby poops....

Hi! this happened with my son when I was bf him. I was told that what was happening was he was only eating the foremilk ( the thin milk that comes out first) then he would fall asleep before he got to the thicker fattier milk which comes near rteh end of a feeding. So I was encouraged to keep him awake and get him to completely empty my breast. This seemed to do the trick. I would still call the doctor to check this out though. Good luck!!

My son would only poop every 5 to 7 days when he was young and bf only. When he started teething he started going more often and it changed colors. It can also be a virus. If it isn`t one of those things, check into what you are eating and see if anything has changed! Good Luck!
