for 9 years we used the pull-out method, and it worked. the only time we didn`t care was right before my period was due. When we decided to have a baby, it took about 6 months to get pregnant. With the 2nd baby, it happened from the first try. i know exactly the day i ovulate because i feel the discomfort in my back and hips. A few days before ovulation i start getting a discharge. my rule is, not to get pregnant, i should not take risks from the day my period ends up until a few days after ovulation is over, which leaves only about a week before my period.

We were using the natural family planning and ovulation tracking and we CLEARED the dates around when I ovulated-we didn`t have sex less then 3 days before I ovulated...I ended up preggers....We were also faithfully using the pull-out method..lol

we thought we were done having kids, i had even went to the doc and had an appt. for a tubal ligation. We went camping last July with our 2 kids. My mom came out for one night and offered to sleep in the camper with the kids and DH and I slept in the tent. We had had a few drinks and the condoms were in the camper....i assured DH it was alright and the wrong time of the month to get pregnant. I am now 34 weeks and DH has learned not to listen me when I have had a few drinks lol.

I had a baby in April and conceived #2 in July. We were using condoms and they didn`t break. It took us a year to conceive #1, so goodness knows how #2 happened!

The first time I got pregnant was a REAL surprise but the second time I was tracking my ovulation using the Natural Family Planning method and I knew I was ovulating but me and DH had a little too much to drink, got a little frisky and basically didn`t grab a condom and tada, preggo with 2nd haha...

I used the fertility calendar thingy! I had been doing it for 2/3mnths and it was perfect then read up on it and realised we were doing it all wrong so I changed the dates we could be naughty/carefull and that month I got pregnant! So turns out my way was right and the usual calendr way on the internet and on here was really wrong for me lol x
