thamouse (1070.7 days ago) Like other mom`s suggested: start veggies before fruits. This way they won`t get used to the sweet taste of fruits and possibly reject veggies.
lovemyfamily (1070.8 days ago) I plan to introduce cereal at 4 months, I will be using Quinoa however so I can make it myself. Much much healthier. I`ll wait a week and then start by introducing a new veggie every week. When I can`t possibly think of any more veggies then I will introduce fruits after veggies. And then move up with the Canada food guidelines. My baby was born at 10lbs 4oz though and has always been a hungry baby! I` m hoping to hold off on cereals until 4 months but if she continues to be as hungry as she has been then I will allow her to start maybe a few weeks before.
happyforest (1070.8 days ago) whenever you want to and feel that baby is ready! theres no set time bc they are all so different. i started my baby on cereal at 2 1/2 months and fruit and veg around 3 months
luvbeingamom (1070.8 days ago) I started cereal at 8 months when my son was ready and i introduced a new food every 5 days. Giving him enough time between foods to note any reaction (allergy, constipation, etc).
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (1070.8 days ago) my doctor suggests starting veggies at 5 months of age - then once we been through all the veggies then to introduce fruits. Also, giving one at a time for 4 days (incase of an allergic reaction).
