No, contractions were about the same

#1 - induced..terrible contractions..epidural...ventouse assissted birth. #2 - natural labor..natural birth, no drugs at all. I would take my natural birth and labor any day over the awful pitocin induced contractions.

the induction definately seemed more painful. but i think it was just because it happened so fast. my natural labor was 22 hours and my iduction was less than 3

much more painful with my induction... but I think part of the problem is that you are not allowed to get out of bed at all, and for me contractions are so much more painful when laying down confined to a bed. With my second (natural onset) I was waiting for the point where I couldn`t walk/talk through contractions which didn`t ever come... so we just went in anyways and I was 9cm! LOL, MUCH LESS painful, and much MORE freedom to move about.

First was natural onset, 2nd was induced only with cervidel...a LOT more intense and difficult but still ok. This last one was an induction only with pitocin and it was hands down the most excruciatingly painful experience EVER. I had them all naturally, no epidural or anything but that last one was insanely difficult and just about uncontrollable. Theres a huge difference between cervidil inductions and pitocin induction. I will NEVER have pitocin again...did I make that part clear lol?! I guess its completely different if youre having an epi though..

My induced labor was much less painful because doc let me have my epi as soon as I got uncomfy!

my first was all natural and it was really long and very painful. My second I was induced and it was alot shorter but still very painful. I would say they were about the same on the pain scale. Just with being induced, it didn`t take forever for everything to really kick in to gear.
