PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A PACI TO THE HOSPITAL WITH YOU IF YOU PLAN ON BREASTFEEDING!!! Early on it is critical to breastfeeding success to have the baby at your breast as MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Pacis cause nipple confusing and low/slow milk production!

My daughter liked the ones that the hospital gave her...she wouldn`t take anything else. So my advice would be to take the paci that you plan on using to the hospital with you :o) But she only used the paci for 2 weeks anyway so it wasn`t a big deal

just depends on the baby. mine won`t take any and i`ve tried 6 diff kinds. i do know other bf babies who take pacifiers though. i recommend buying 2 or 3 diff brands and only taking one out of the package at a time till you see which he/she likes.

I breast fed and used avent the passy does not leave any marks on the babies face!if that helps your choice but sometimes you may need to try many different kinds it is all up to the baby what he will take all 3 of my boys did like the avent!

my LO was on the soothie binks but couldn`t keep it in his mouth.. I tried the gerber nuks and he loves them!!

Neither of my exclusively breastfed babies would even take a pacifier...I tried really hard with my youngest one so he wouldn`t use me as one....He was really bad at bottles too..It took us 5 months to get him to take a bottle so I could work...We just tried one of every kind of bottle out there. If your baby doesn`t want one then I wouldn`t worry about it too much.Good luck

my son liked MAM pacifiers the best as a newborn then perfered NUK for 4 months and now is back on the MAM`s.. each baby is different. Just buy one of each. =P
