Baby-poll poll My son had his 9 month checkup today...and he hasn`t gained a pound nor grown in length in the past 3 months. He is 13 pounds. The doc said it might be a thyroid problem so he had blood drawn today and I will find out on Monday. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what was the outcome?

sounds like something called failure to thrive; there are lots of different reasons for it; the outcome and treatment depends on the reason...it`s good your doc is investigating rather than take the `wait and see` approach

i hope all comes out fine with your LO. My little boy is 3 months and he weighs 16 lbs. Your LO must be a peanut

  10. I regularly treat myself and my partner to things - finances permitting - which often means the children go without. I don`t mean their necessities - they always have clean clothes, good food, diapers etc. Do you find since having children you:
