delarla (1066 days ago) We started on these Gerber ones. They come two to a pack. My daughter loved them and transitioning was very easy. Also, we use Avent bottles and they make sippy attachments depending on age and these are my faovrite. Very cheap!
hunnybunnysmama (1066 days ago) i bought some at the dollar store after spending a small forturne. they were very small, only held 4 oz so her hands could grasp it easily and it wasn`t super heavy because it had so much liquid in it... she just loved them! basically anything without a valve to start until they figure out how to pour out the liquid...
anointedprincess (1066.1 days ago) try a nubby it has a rubber lid insert.
ermsmom (1066.1 days ago) My daughter did better with a straw cup first. Now she`s using a cheap Playtex one from the supermarket. She also has a few Nubys.
sleepymomma (1066.1 days ago) Daisy likes the Nuby ones. She doesnt like the ones with handles though.
oogysmommy (1066.2 days ago) 2 reasons advent sippy cups rock.. if your LO is frusterated and cant figure it out but wants something to drink you can take a nipple from an advent bottle and use the sippy as a bottle and vice versa if you want your LO to use a tippy you can put that on the bottle so it is a little more familiaur. `
Good luck
RobinG (1066.2 days ago) Munckkin or any type with the clear soft tip like a nipple ~ without the plastic insert for spill proof, those are harder to suck for starting out ~ the ones you want have small slits just like a nipple does and no added insert in valve :)
3blessings (1066.2 days ago) My daughter likes her Nuby ones. The spout is soft plastic so she can bite it and it collapses together.
nmck (1066.2 days ago) We have a Gerber one with a soft spout that was about $4 at Target. Good luck!
MaryJanowiecki (1066.5 days ago) I bought the gerber one for my son at 5 months and that`s what he`s used ever since.
JMendez (1066.6 days ago) I used the Nuby sippy`s from Walmart. Cheap and my daughter really took to them =)
elita777 (1066.6 days ago) my baby is 13 months old and she still wouldn`t drink from sippy cup :( We are giving her formula and juice/water in Dr. Browns bottles. We are going to try straw cup soon.
