Lookalike (1057.9 days ago) I`m pretty sure you`re not supposed to, but then again I machine wash even when it says dry clean only. I think this is why they sell duvet covers so you only have to wash the cover.
KelliA (1058 days ago) I have to answer again Yes! Yes! Yes! you can wash a down comforter, you can also wash a down pillow. Both of mine say machine washable. Feathers can and were intended to get wet.
KelliA (1058.5 days ago) It should have a tag telling you. I have always washed mine once a month and put it in the dryer. You do you need a large capacity dryer though. I have never had a problem. You can also dry clean them but why pay all that money if you can wash it yourself.
weeblette (1058.5 days ago) We wash our feather duvet at least twice a year - and put it in the dryer. Just be sure to throw some tennis balls in the dryer to keep it fluffed open, or else it gets all mashed up and doesn`t dry as well.
armymom (1058.6 days ago) you can but it will take several days to dry because you`ll have to hang dry and you`ll need to move it around alot to fluff it up. It may never be as fluffy after you wash it but unless the tags say otherwise it`s ok.
