Thanks for all the comments! We just got back from the doctor and apparently ALL of Charlie`s top teeth are coming in at once!! ALL of them! I was floored when he showed me each and every little budding tooth. I`m going to have a nice little talk with hubby about the lighting in our home, lol. Doc says the rash is definitely a teething symptom (I had NO freakin clue!) and that a temp of up to 106.1 - yeah, I know! - is considered normal during teething. Also all the normal symptoms like nasal congestion, vomiting/ pooping mucus, fussiness, etc... were in there too. I think that since her fever is so low (it was gone at the doc`s office), the rash is a heat reaction rash. Babies are so weird, lol!!!

when in doubt, call the doc. Rashes have so many indications that only a professional can give you the proper advice.

Kevins, Look at her hands, feet and inside her mouth and see if there are any bumps there if there are then it`s probably foot and mouth. Also, she might be teething and have eczema? IDK, I`m just throwing out some options. Maybe call a doc.

Could be strep like luvbeingamom or just a regular rash. My son broke out with a rash like this a couple of weeks back. We though it was bacterial/strep related because he was also sick but he tested negative so the doc said that it probably was just a reaction to something and to moniter it but should go away. We still haven`t figured out what it was from but I would take baby to the doc just to be safe.

It can be a virus or a bacteria infection like strep. I would def take her to the doc. Good Luck!

I think it is Eczema. Check out the forum page. The colomn on the right is alphabetical and you can read and see about it. The slobber and sweat can cause a rash under the chins and the folds to. You can look at foot and mouth desease (that lasts about a week). Foot and mouth comes with fever and sore throat.

Oh, she also has a fever of 99.7. I have NO clue what is going on here...
