I don`t really talk to people on my friends network. I have never requested anyone to be in my network, they have requested me and I just accept. It`s not for the appearance of friends, because I could care less. It`s just that I have no reason not to accept them. But I guess the whole real reason why I barely talk to them is because I don`t really know what to say, or I may not come on here for a week at a time, and by that time a lot has gone on. I guess basically I have too much going on in my life to remember online friendships. That`s not to say that I`ll sometimes comment on polls or on the week/month board, but I`m not on there all the time to create friendships

good question; I`ve asked that about facebook. Personally, I rarely invite people to be in my network. Most everyone has invited me, and even so, I nearly always comment on most blogs sent to me from the people in my network, whether or not I`ve talked to them before or not. The people who are really serious about a friendship occassionally comment on blogs or check in to ask how we`re doing.

I totally agree with Patty. Those who don`t talk have about 2 blogs a day. and I even had one complain why no one is commenting on her pictures

yeah I dont accept friendship from anyone I dont know/never talked to before.. I just delete those requests...

I think because they want to have the appearance of having a lot of friends in their networks.
