Juniper (1055.9 days ago) Thanks for the answers. Changing your diet changes your vaginal pH, so is more favorable to either x or y sperm. If you are too much one or the other, that can really enhance your chances of having boy or girl.
I read up on it last night and it said a diet high in calcium and magnesium for a girl. So I need to figure out a realistic diet to go with that. Whilst cutting down on potassium and sodium (what you want for a boy).
Nice to hear it may have worked for you mysticmoon... hope to hear some other stories for good or bad..
elita777 (1056.3 days ago) I never heard about any diet affecting baby gender but I heard this. The `boy sperm` is faster and has less life time therefore (I guess it gets tired and dies faster?) and `girl sperm` is slower but lives a lot longer. So if you monitor your ovulation and have sex unprotected sex only during those couple of days you have a higher chance of getting pregnant with a boy. I hope it makes sense. Write me if you have more questions, I can try to explain better :)
california-mom (1056.3 days ago) I was trying to conceive twins since before I got pregnant...Tried every old wives tale and still another singleton lol
Christine G (1056.3 days ago) It didn`t work, neither did positions in bed.
MysticMoonMommyIsBack (1056.3 days ago) when ready to have the fourth, I had read something that eating a lot of beans and cheese would change the pH in the body to help make things easier for conceiving a girl. I did a LOT of differnt kinds of research to everything I could because I already had three boys. Can`t totally say if it worked or not, but I did get a girl after all, and we are expecting number 5 now, which is also a little girl. ^_^
