More important that making your kid smart is to make him responsible, charming, polite, and kind. Those qualities will take a person much, much further than reading and knowledge. I see it every day.

I`ve seen the adds for it and imagine that it probably does work. I just wonder what other skills they`re missing out on....I think that something like social and motor skills would be a little more meaningful in the long run.

if you`r going to use it, you have to use it properly for it to work. you can`t just set the kid in front of the tv and expect it to work miriacles. you have to then go back and review with baby and read with baby and point out words with baby and play with letter blocks with baby and all that jazz.
