phooey (1053.8 days ago) I completed my masters degree online. It was wonderful because I could work on it at my leisure, I got to avoid the commute, the parking nightmares, the droning classroom lecture. The only thing is you have to be self disciplined.
Heaven (1054.3 days ago) I have been taking online classes since I found out I was pregnant. I was going to ASU (arizona state) during my first trimester but we have a HUGE campus so I decided that was enough walking in the heat so I decided to go to asuonline and its great. I`m still doing it now so i can stay home with mariah. I guess thats why I`m online so much because i should be doing my work :-)
tto (1054.4 days ago) Half my masters was online. I loved it because it didn`t pull me away from my kids. Also I could get the classes done ahead of time for the most part. There is more book reading and assignments to replace class time and lecture so it took more time for homework!
~amy~ (1054.4 days ago) I took a year of online classes to finish my associates and loved it! One thing I can say is it is alot of work..lots more writing than a regular course!
chanelle (1054.4 days ago) Yes I have and enjoyed them for the most part. There can be issues but I would not have been able to go to reg. classes.
sleepymomma (1054.4 days ago) I love it! I am taking online classes and it is so much easier than going to campus. I am very self disciplined as far as school goes and havent struggled at all. The teachers have always been very responsive and if there is something that I just can`t understand, I can always go to campus and see them. When I was in classes on campus, my classmates tended to be very young, immature and talked through lectures. I don`t have time for that crap, I am a pregnant mom and full time employee. Plus, I love that I can do my coursework at 5am or 7pm or whenever I happen to have the free time. It takes me away from Daisy less
ermsmom (1054.5 days ago) I have a bachelors and a masters and took online courses for another advanced degree for job. I hated them and wouldn`t continue past one course. It could have just been the school or lecturer but I felt there was not enough support and/or other students taking it seriously.
brendalee (1054.5 days ago) I`d take online courses through an actual college, not just a school that specifically does online classes...that way you can take some at home and get some done in an actual class and actually gain something from the expierence.
missyv28 (pink) (1054.6 days ago) I liked the online courses because we could do it on our own time and not have to go to a classroom but to me it I spent more time doing the work and there isn`t hands on teaching. So give or take. You have to have good self discipline.
