I had heavy bleeding at week 7. Really, really heavy with clots. My baby was fine. I bled off an on til 15 weeks. Then I hemorrhaged at 28 weeks, was on hospital bedrest until it happened again at 30 weeks. Anyway, my son is doing great. My early bleeding was likely some sort of hematoma.

my current doc explained it best here recently. he explained that during pregnancy your cervix is a bit irratated, the blood vessels and veins are closer to the surface due to the added weight, it can cause bleeding for no real reason, even a yeast infection can cause major bleeding as long as you stay off your feet as much as possible, dont do anything heavy, and sometimes they tell you no sex. usually baby is fine, your cervix just isnt happy

Yes at 11 weeks I was bleeding and went to ER..the ER doc was a jerk to me and said oh yea it will end in a miscarriage..I scheduled an appt with my doc for the following week..Which I bled thru that whole week so i was convinced I was miscarrying..went in to my doc appt and had an ultrasound and my little boy was perfectly healthy with a very strong heart beat..I bled for probably 3 weeks, and they never figured out why but I had no other complications and gave birth to a healthy baby boy! I started bleeding at 13 weeks. It was a bright red heavy bleeding. I went to ER, ultrasound and other tests were fine. I currently bleed a little now and then and I`m 31 weeks pregnant. So yes, you have a good chance of baby being fine!

at 9 weeks, i started bleeding, it was light at first but after being in the emergency room for 3 hours it was bright red and heavy, they did an ultrasound and said i was threated miscarriage. by the next day the red turned brown and it moved down to spotting, this cont. till i was 12 wks and then i had to go back to the er b/c it felt like i peed my pants and when i went to the bathroom i was bleeding really bad and it was coming out really fast but it was black not red. again i was threated miscarriage but after an ultrasound everything looked good and at the beginning of my 14th wk i quit all together and now i am 33.5 wks pregnant!! i started bleeding at 13 weeks was on bedrest for 3 weeks. i had a clot in the placenta, along with placenta previa. the clot passed, placenta moved and i am 33 weeks today. i will pray for you, i know how difficult this can be

I had bleeding and i mean heavy bleeding all though out my pregnancy. I was always in and out of the hospital because i refuse to just let it go. But everything was ok... it turns out that i was so swollen that even my blood vessels down there were as well so every time i would move, cough, sneeze and exspecailly have sex i would bleed. But good news... My little man is almost 4 and a half months old and PERFECT :) Im sure everything will be ok... But if you ever feel anything is wrong at all... go to the dr. Just like that old saying MOTHERS KNOW BEST!

I had some light pink and everything was fine. Was your`s light pink or brown? If it was red, then it was good that you went in. I would trust the doctors if they said everything was okay. They would tell you if something was wrong. Hang in there!

Hi Im 21 weeks and have had bleeding from day one, i wouldnt have known i was pregnant if it hadnt been for my mum telling me to take a test. I bleed roughly every four weeks or so (around period time) its never very heavy but very very very scary. I went to hospital twice, once at 4 weeks and again at 9weeks, i was told that as long as i have no pains i should be fine, and that they consider having to use 5 sanitary pads as `light bleeding` and nothing to worry about. This still doesnt put my mind at ease but its still good to know. Although i find them saying about having pain weird as we are growing and that causes pains!! and i tend to get tummy cramps when i get worried. Do rest alot though, its the best thing you can do.
