Well, my mum is still parenting a 6 yr old and a 1 yr old in my house. There are times where I say to myself, I will not do that or what not. She`s a little more lax than me. We were both raised with extremely verbal and physically abusive parents. So, she does the exact opposite and my brother is at times disrespectful to say the least. I don`t plan on being abusive in any manner but I plan on being strict.

I think that my mom did a great job, and I`m doing things very similarly. She gave me a great example to model after. :-)
