Oh yeah my daughter started sitting herself up right at 7 months. She will be 8 months on the 11th and just started crawling..... I am working on her holding the bottle.....

Ada was 5 months old when she began sitting up on her own.

my daughter didnt get into the sitting postion until she started crawling she still cant sit straight up from laying flat. and shes almost 1.

So what do you do.. The little guy is soo happy but sooo wobbely. I was just watching him today but my sil normally watches him. Im so used to Kara being so active that it was weird seeing him umm soo not :) He doesnt get on his knees or push up with his hands?? He just laid on his tummy flapping his arms and legs happy as could be :)

Ohhh no my daughter (9 months) is walking and has been able to sit (get in a sitting position) on her own since 6 months. I baby sat a littel boy today who is not sitting and was just wondering.

If yours cannot get from belly to sidesitting to a sitting position and she is 8 months, let me know. It doesn`t mean anything is wrong with her but I`d be happy to give you some tips on how to help him/her along....it`s what I do for a living..
