My baby girl sleeps with her arms up too and we never swaddled her after we left the hospital.

my daughter is 2 months and wont sleep without being swaddled. also when she is fussy i`ll swaddle her and rub her back and she calms right down.

im asking because kamaria is 6 months old and if i dont swaddle her STILL she will wake herself up all night my hitting herself in the face and kicking herself

haha, I`m with Amy, My little guy (two months) sleeps with his arms up, and HATES being swaddled.

I never could get Joel to swaddle. He is 12 weeks today and ever since he was born he sleeps with his arms stuck straight out above his head! If I try to swaddle him he grunts and gets so upset that he can`t move his arms!

She hated it. We tried a few times after leaving the hospital, but it infuriated her. She doesn`t like being confined, especially her legs (which is why I don`t get a lot of use out of my two slings. Thank goodness for the Moby!)

my baby would release himself very fast, since he was born. but i`d say if your baby accepts it, swaddle until they don`t want it anymore

my daughter seemed to hate being swaddled after we got home from the hospital.
