my baies 8 weeks, when he was 5 weeks he was ddrinking 3 ounces every 2 hours in the day time 5 ounces at 11p.m after a bath, sleeps 3 1/2 hours then back to 3 ounces and every 2 hours, he`s 15 pounds though

At 5 weeks my son was drinking 5oz every 2 1/2 or 3 hours!! Right now he is 12 weeks old and he still drinks 5oz

At 5 weeks she was drinking etween 5-6oz every 2 hours...she was also born at 10ls 4oz and we found out about a month later she was allergic to my milk and to cow`s milk, so we swtiched her to soy.

All babies are different. As long as your baby is healthy, happy, alert and having wet nappies I would not worry too much. My son only about 2-3oz for ages. But he never increased and by the time he was about 10 weeks he was still only averaging 15oz a day and stopped gaining weight and having wet nappies. Keep getting your LO weighed every 2 weeks and if you are at all concerned, chart down the feeds and how many wet/soiled nappies they are having, that way if you get really worried you can call your doc and you have everything written down. I did this and it helped loads. Even just for my own benefit/peace of mind
