bethk (1030.4 days ago) My gosh Im so glad Ive read this poll! I will be bf my 2nd baby but will not be co-sleeping! I dont want him/her to be nursing all night long! I didnt co-sleep with my 1st and she was sleeping longer by 8wks!
MelissaJoanne (1030.4 days ago) Some nights she nurses all night and seems to panic if she can`t find a breast immediately, other nights she passes out and wakes up once or twice to calmly feed.
pc (1030.4 days ago) OMG, I am glad you asked. This is happening to me! My baby just turned four months. He nurses all night long, rather he just wants a boob in his mouth all night long. He usually wont take the pacifer, it must be a breast. I`m so tired, I usually fall asleep while he nurses, a few hour later I wake up and my boob is still in his mouth even if he is done nursing. Then my nipples start to ache and feel chapped. When he wakes up at night (every other hour or so - yes, it`s pretty bad) he searches for the breast. It`s like he`s immediate soother. If you get any great advice, please share.
~amy~ (1030.4 days ago) My LO only eats as he falls asleep and then up for a feeding around 3:30am. He doesn`t nurse all night long thank goodness! He is 14 weeks this week.
california-mom (1030.4 days ago) Nope. Quite the opposite, I believe my babies were all great sleepers and hardly ever woke up from the beginning BC they slept with us =)
courtenay (1030.5 days ago) she wont take a pacifier at all. it doesnt really bother me although id like it if it was a couple of actual feeds rather than just sucking on me all night.
Aprilraine (1030.5 days ago) have you tried a pacifier for nights? My son is 3 weeks and co-sleeps but only nurses once or twice a night.
LKLmama (1030.6 days ago) It depends.. dome night yes.. other nights no..
T3POandR2D2 (1030.6 days ago) For the past 3 or so weeks my son has been the same way! He used to be able to self soothe and now he can only fall asleep with my boob!!! What is up with that?
missyv28 (pink) (1030.6 days ago) Nope, he was equally hungry during the day as the night but he was sleeping at least 6 hours a night by 3 months...
courtenay (1030.6 days ago) lately all my daughter wants to do is nurse all night long and she hasnt been sleeping unless she is nursing or has a boob in her immediate vicinity for nursing purposes lol. I was just wondering how common of a habit it may be.
