wendy125 (1030.9 days ago) You should call your doctor. But I think you`re probably just experiencing ligament stretching. I had those pains from about 5 weeks to 14 weeks. Sometimes I would feel like someone pinched me from the inside and at other times it felt like I was about to start my period. If you are worried, call your doctor. That`s what they`re there for.
Christine G (1031.2 days ago) I had cramps at 12 weeks, ended up being constipation even though I was going everyday. The pain was very painful, I did end up going to the doctors. They checked me and poked around my stomac which was obviously painful and did some blood tests. They told me to increase my water and fibre and it all ended going away since I`ve kept that up.
wisfarmgirl (1031.2 days ago) Could be the round ligament stretching. Very common.
FROM BABYCENTER.COM
Round ligament pain generally refers to a brief, sharp, stabbing pain or a longer-lasting dull ache that pregnant women commonly feel in the lower abdomen or groin, starting in the second trimester.
You may feel round ligament pain as a short jabbing sensation if you suddenly change position, such as when you`re getting out of bed or out of a chair or when you cough, roll over in bed, or get out of the bathtub. You may feel it as a dull ache after a particularly active day — when you`ve been walking a lot or doing some other physical activity.
nmck (1031.2 days ago) As everything stretches in there while the baby grows, you are going to have pain/cramps off and on the whole time. That is why I never understood why people say it is so great to not have your period....you get cramps the whole time!! Good luck!
bethk (1031.2 days ago) Thanks for ur comments! Its completely stopped now! Either that or ive become numb to the pain! Should I still go? And they wont give u an ultrasound here that easy! As its Government paid not private they will do anythin b4 giving u one of those
emi (1031.2 days ago) i voted to go to the doctor cos i remember that everything worried me when i was pregnant and sometimes having an ultrasound or hearing the heart beat was what i needed to be reassured. It may be nothing.. the uterus does lots of painful stretching during pregnancy .. but i`d go and have it investigated.. i hope everything is ok x
terise (1031.2 days ago) I would see the dr just for peace of mind. Everything is probably fine but its better than being worried.
